“To provide some color: CBA has 11 sales divisions and 3 brand families for a total of 33 possible brand division combinations in analyzing business,” said ops chief Andy Thomas. “Over 75% of decliners came from just 4 of those 33.”

Shipments were flat for the quarter, while depletions gains clocked in around +3%.

From New Jersey to Florida, pumpkin beer is already in-market and selling out.

Boston Beer Co. has just reported core shipment growth of 7% at 690,000 barrels for Q2 and depletions growth of 7% for the quarter, 9% for the first half of the year.

The Third Street brewery at Cold Spring Brewing Co. will add another 100,000 barrels, “with 400,000 barrels annual capacity chasing that,” says general manager Doug DeGeest. He’ll make decisions over the next month on how to allocate the barrels to contract partners.
