Last week we reported on Devils Backbone and nearly all of the ink was spilled on turbulent guild relations outside the brewer's doors. Recall that DB has been barred from membership at the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild, which it helped found [see CBD 07-15-2016]. The Guild's reasoning is that their membership is comprised of Brewers Association-defined craft breweries -- which no longer applies, says the group, since A-B announced the DB acquisition.
