BA Speaks on Nutrition Labeling
After the Beer Institute shared their voluntary labeling initiative yesterday morning (involving disclosure of key serving facts on products by 2020, which six BI members have so far promised to adopt), eyes turned to the Brewers Association to see if it would encourage its members to follow suit. Many presumed the BA would hang back, knowing it would be an expensive endeavor for craft brewers and their extensive portfolios. We pinged BA president and CEO Bob Pease to see if this was in fact the case.
